Marv Jacobs became our new pastor in January 2021. In many ways, he feels like he’s come home. After all, he grew up on a farm no more than ten miles away. Graduating from Central College in Pella, Iowa, Marv’s intention was to be a high school history teacher. Obviously, God had other plans!
After receiving an MDiv degree from Western Theological Seminary in Holland Michigan, Marv went on to serve four very loving and growing congregations in Wisconsin, Illinois, Arizona, and Michigan. In addition to his family, he has three great loves-God, His Word, and people! AND…guess where he’s found some great people? Right here at the Elim Reformed Church!
